Very similar model to the Sapphire Pulse RX6600 8GV. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/sapphire-pulse-rx-6600.b9270
This Sapphire X060 8GB will show up in GPU-Z as the Sapphire Pulse RX6600 8GB(which is supposed to happen). Also, the Sapphire X060 8GB should play games just like the Sapphire Pulse RX6600 8GB and download AMD Adrenaline drivers the same way.*
**Was given the GPU in a $80 trade deal where the customer said they were having issues with the card.
After being given the card, I diagnosed the mining card where it will work intermittently(on and off) at random.
I fully disassembled the card. Cleaned, inspected, repasted, and repadded the card. I see no signs of damage to the card.
Most likely the issue might be that the mining card might be suffering from a GPU bios issue. Tried to bios flash the card myself. However, due to either one factor or another. The Sapphire X060 8GB will be detected in my system on and off.
The card does not glitch. Shows no signs of light bleed. Shows no signs of core or memory degradation.
The Sapphire X060 8GB will only show up in Device Manager after booting from a "cold boot"(system being unplugged and replugged and then turned on). After that, the card will never show up again in any system after one to two minutes. Even resetting and shutting down/powering on any system while it is plugged in will not let the Sapphire X060 8GB pop back up in Device Manager.
These are common signs of a corrupted GPU bios chip.
Since I cannot keep the Sapphire X060 8GB up long enough to flash the BIOS in any system. The mining card will most likely need to be BIOS flashed with a seperate BIOS chip module device. I do not own any device to flash the BIOS. Also, I cannot guarantee that flashing the BIOS will solve this Sapphire X060 8GB issue. So, buyer/trader beware.**
***I am willing to sell the card for $30, or I am willing to trade the card for any old or unused computers/computer parts.
If you happen to have any spare Intel 2nd or 3rd Gen CPUs, Old Sata Hard Drives, or older AMD HD GPUs. I definitely be willing to trade for many computers/computer parts you can spare that might be just laying around and being unused. Laptops and chromebooks too.***
Will meet at the Greers in Grand Bay, Alabama to sell or trade.
