Description:
Selling a full-size (4/4) student violin outfit that is in incredibly clean structural condition but needs a few standard setup parts to be fully playable. It was a gifted instrument that has been carefully stored, but I do not play and am clearing out space.
There are no maker's labels or stamps on the instrument or bow, which is very common for modern student factory models.
The Good:
Excellent Structural Condition: The wood body, neck, and finish are completely solid. There are no cracks, seam separations, deep scratches, or wobbles.
Includes Hard Case: Comes with the green-velvet lined hard case shown in the photos, which is clean and zips/latches properly.
Great Project: Perfect for a student, hobbyist, or someone looking for an inexpensive fixer-upper instrument.
What it Needs to be Playable (Please Read):
One Missing Peg: A standard violin utilizes four tuning pegs. This instrument is currently missing the lower-right peg in the pegbox, so you will need to purchase a replacement peg.
New Strings: It currently only has two intact strings (plus one broken wire string still threaded). It will need a brand-new set of 4 violin strings installed.
Bow Attention: The included bow is structurally intact, but the horsehair has completely frayed and unraveled from storage. It will either need to be re-haired or replaced with a cheap student bow.
