Building Custodian / Landscaping (Part-Time)
ABBA Shriners is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Building Custodian / Landscaping Position.
Pay
• $15.00 per hour
• Overtime opportunities available
• Most weeks will average 30+ hours some weeks more dependent upon event rentals.
Schedule Requirements
Applicants must be flexible with scheduling due to event rentals and temple activities.
• Weekend work required during most event rentals
• Late night work required during event rentals
• Days off may vary based on facility rental schedule
Duties Include
• General building housekeeping
• Facility grounds landscaping and upkeep Include: Mowing, Weed eating and General Landscaping
• Maintaining restrooms and common areas
• Cleaning bathrooms during events
• Sweeping, mopping, and floor care
• Trash removal during and after events
• Setting up for event rentals and activities as needed
• Ability to setup and break down banquet tables and chairs
• Ability to follow layout plans for event setup
• General custodial support for rentals and temple functions
• Ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
• Light maintenance as needed
• MUST BE A SELF STARTER
Requirements
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to perform physical labor and lifting
• Drug screen required
• Background check required
