Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. This role supports daily job site operations by assisting skilled trades, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and completing general labor tasks. This is a hands-on position that involves a high level of self-performed work alongside our crew. Ideal candidates are reliable, physically capable, and ready to work in a fast-paced construction setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform self-performed construction tasks including
-foundation pads -material handling -appliance installation -cabinet installation -hardware installation; Locksets, mirrors, closet hardware -Site grading -power washing -site clean up -bath hardware Installation
Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and site cleanup
Support trades as needed
Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Operate basic hand and power tools
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Knowledge with drywall, trim, plumbing, painting, electrical, flooring/tile work (HANDMAN SKILLS)
Required- Operate machines: (skid loader, lull, man basket, excavator, mulcher)
Required- Load and unload and tie down machinery
Required- Basic machine maintenance (Fueling, Greasing, Oil Change, Power Washing, Ect.)
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs
Strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to perform hands-on, self-performed work daily
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Perform Simple Math
Read tape measure
Use common sense/Problem Solver
Machanically inclined
Good attitude
Presentable
Eye for good work
Clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience
Experience with framing, concrete, grading, or similar self-performed work
Experience operating skid steer or other equipment
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: Starting at $22-24 HR
Overtime opportunities (Every other weekend if needed)
Work Details:
Location: Baldwin County: Office located in Gulf Shores
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (some weekends as needed)
Travel: 2 day trips at most
