So the holidays are upon us and here is a fine flatware collection that any housewife, newlywed etc. would love to have sitting in their dining room, designed and crafted by Wallace Silver and Reed and Barton Select! This collection is over 30 years old, brand new (never been used) and out of production. This is showcased in an original Pacific Silver Cloth oak silverware storage chest. This is a service for 12 (84 pieces) - Plus 12 Serving Pieces -. Very exquisite and elegant, this collection is the perfect choice for formal and fine dining!
The collection consists of the Wallace Silver GRANDE HOTEL and the Reed & Barton Monique (French Renaissance) collection. The Wallace Grande Hotel flatware collection is known for its classic designs, often featuring multiple reproduction patterns within a single set. The history of this eclectic pattern dates back to the grand hotel era in the early 1900's when premiere hotels created place settings by mixing and matching patterns.
This is definitely a gorgeous and elegant collection that will look great on your dining table through the holidays! Truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that will be around for a long time. To the best of my knowledge this is the only remaining brand new set left in existence! So this collection certainly comes with some bragging rights! Just the feel of these pieces seems so elegant and well made, not like the sets that they make today!
