Pearl White Leghorns. Murray McMurry, where these chicks came from, says these are their very best egg layers. They are small chickens; therefore, they will not eat as much feed as larger breeds. They are active and are good free-range forgers. They start laying earlier, longer, and lay the most eggs than all other breeds. They will lay large white eggs and will start laying around March 15. They are 35.00 each.

Buff Orpingtons. Beautiful golden color chickens. Gentle and good for children. Good layers of large brown eggs. These will start laying around mid-April. 30.00 each.

Americana. Some call them Easter Eggers because they will lay green, blue, or pink eggs. They are medium size chickens but will lay extra-large colorful eggs. No two have the same feather color pattern, making these a colorful addition to your flock. They should start laying mid-April. 35.00 each.
