1961 Chevrolet Corvair 700
Very Low Miles 47,746, 2nd Owner, One Of White Leather Interior! Seats and door panels.
I restored this car 16 years ago. I replaced the bench seat with Monza bucket seats and replaced the cloth interior with w matching hide white leather interior. The transmission and torque converter were replaced with Clark Corvair rebuilt ones. I kept the original ones, if someone wants numbers matching they can be rebuilt. The following were also replaced: carburetors, gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, plugs and wires. I have new carpet and insulation, and new door seals. I started to remove the chrome to have it repainted. I have all of the original chrome.

The original generator face plate cracked so I decided to convert to an alternator. I have all of the parts needed to install the alternator. The generator face plate is still available if you want to stay OEM.

The car has some surface rust bubbling on the doors, otherwise it is a very solid body. Tires need replacing. The car has been sitting for a few years and needs freshening up.

This is a rare Classic Corvair that is worth the TLC to bring her up to show class.

Serious offers only. Asking $6,495 or Best Offer
